Derek Smith, a former competitive figure skater and his family would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to ABA Sports.  At ABA “ your passion is our specialty”!  Whether your specific sport is Dance, Skating, Roller Skating, Gymnastics or Custom Team wear we cater to all, from the beginner to the professional.   Derek and his staff have over 70 years of experience, so drop in and let us share our passion with you.

ABA Skate & Dance operates in the Kingston Area,  and draws clients  from as far away as the Soviet Republic. We are a retail Dance, Figure skating,  Gymnastic  Sports Shop that was established in 1989 . ABA Skate & Dance is well known in the dance and skating community as a quality sports boutique supplying the latest in apparel and accessories, shoes, boots, blades and services such as sharpening, mounting and leather care. 

We have a large selection of Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Hip hop, Character and Ballroom shoes from Capezio, SoDanca,  Bloch and Angelo Luzio.   If we do not have what you are looking for we will order in especially for you.   Our dance apparel selection is the largest in the Kingston area offering leotards from Capezio, SoDanca and Mondor.

We carry  Riedell, Jackson,  Risport and  Edea Figure skates  We also supply  blades are Wilson,  MK and  Ultima .  ABA is now an authorized dealer for PIC SKATES.  We have the largest selection of skating dresses in Eastern Ontario featuring designs by ABA One of a Kind, Jerry’s and Mondor.  

 All skate fitting is done on site by Derek and all newly purchased skates will include mounting and sharpening so you can leave the store and head right to the ice.
